The graves of Nicolae Ceausescu, the former Romanian communist leader and his wife Elena, have been dug up in order to confirm the identities of the bodies buried there. Forensic scientists exhumed the remains at the Ghencea military cemetery in west Bucharest, the capital, on Wednesday, at the request of Ceausescu's children.
